Anti Tank (AT)
Reality vs. Games: Speed: a lot faster than in games, watch the videos. Laser guided: NO. In real life, the AT4 is a LOT faster than in all games and movies. In real life, you can't see the warhead/projectile while it flies. See the movie to get an impression, how fast a rocket is in real life. Firing inside buildings: Yes. As you can see in the videos, it is possible to fire that weapon even in very narrow spaces. Also this video shows the different modes (against structures or to breach walls ("mousehole mode")).
The Eryx usually is a MOUNTED anti tank system. The rocket can be controlled, but this is done via a wire. Most games use the name Eryx for an anti tank wepaon, that is more like the [...]The warhead is a HEAT (High explosive anti-tank warhead), penetrating 0.9 m through RHA behind reactive armour, or 2.5 m through concrete. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ERYX
Reality vs Games: Speed: in real life a lot faster than in games. Laser guided: NO. In Battlefield Bad Company 2 the Carl gustav can lock on a tracer dart, so you can fire it around corners, it follows a moving target. In Reality this is not possible. The M3 version has a special night scope, so a spotter can fire a tracing ammunition at a target and the Carl Gustav gunner can aim that tracer. But the rocket will fly a straight ballistic line, not flying curves. Shooting inside buildings: No. If you would do that in real life, the blast would come back from the walls and hurt or kill you and your team mates. Technique: As you can see in the photo, the barrel is used to rotate the ammunition to improve the flight stability. Because of this, the 84mm rounds don't need "wings". More: The Carl Gustav (also called M2CG) is a swedish recoil less anti tank rifle, shooting 84mm ammo.Battlefield Bad Company 2 calls it a "M2CG".The weapon was developed 1946. The M2 version was deleoped 19 ...

SRAW stands for Short-Range Assault Weapon, the SRAW is a fire and forget weapon. The SRAW is the better version of the Javelin anti tank system:SRAW has a shorter minimum range (17 meters only!)SRAW can fire top down warheads as the Javelin, but can be used to fire directly to a target without using the pre-launch system (so it is used as a normal RPG/AT weapon: uncontrolled, direct sight to sight).SRAW has a soft launch system, that means: you can fire it even in rooms (no dangerous fire blast at the end of the barrel).http://www.lockheedmartin.com/mfc/index.htmlhttp://www.army-technology.com/projects/predator_kestrel/The Predator is a system that measures target speed and direction to predict where the target will be when the missile is in the position to intercept. It is a fire and forget system, the soldier needs to lock the target, shoot the warhead and doesn't need to control the warhead while flying. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FGM-172_SRAW
