SPAS-12 Combat Shotgun (Franchi)

The SPAS-12 has no external magazine (like the SPAS-15), the shells are placed directly in the barrel. Both shotguns (SPAS-12 and SPAS-15) have a selector where you can choose, if you want to fire in semi-automatic mode or in manual pump action mode.

Semi-automatic means, you just pull the trigger and the shotgun reloads automatically.

In the pump action mode, you shoot and then need to pull the handle back and forth to load a new shell. In games and movies the people mostly use pump action, but in real life, this is only used for the SPAS-12 and SPAS-15 when firing tear gas or non lethal ammunition.
