Below is a list of 50+ weapons and 25+ vehicles that will be shipped with Battlefield 3, each items below shows the real world photos and additional info. The weapons, tanks, jets etc are all real world items. Most of them are currently used by armies and special forces around the world, some of them in the conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries. The complete weapon list below is from the official fact sheets that were published during the GamesCom in Germany, Aug 2011.

The weapons of Battlefield 3 are more cutomizable than in any other Battlefield game before. You can change the barrel, magazine, add attachments etc. EA made an example where they used the M4 carabine and made two versions from it: scope and long barrel for sniper needs, short barrel, magazine box (100 or 200 rounds) bipod and red dot attachment as full auto fire support weapon.

Battlefield 3 will contain the following game modes: Conquest (8-32 players), Conquest (8-64 players on PC only), Rush and Squad Rush, Team Deathmatch and Squad Deathmatch.

Battlefield 3 will have DLC (downloadable content that you need to pruchase), if players pre-order the game directly at EA (using the Origin plattform) the map "Karkand" will be included. If you don't pre-order it directly from EA, you always can buy the DLC later.
