The M249 exists in most games in two versions: Either the M249 Para or the M249 SAW. The Para is konfigured for paratroopers mainly, this means, it has a shorter barrel, which makes it more easy to use in CQB environment. The SAW (means: Squad Automatic Weapon) is used mainly for supressive fire, the barrel is longer. This makes the SAW more heavy than the Para, but it also gives a better acuuracy when firing in full auto mode.
This listing is for the following shotguns: Remington 870 Remington M11-87 Remington M1100 Stakeout (name used in Call of Duty 7: Black Ops) They are pretty much the same, and several parts are used for all three shotguns, this is why we list all three as one model here. Differences: The M1100 can hold 4+1 rounds (four in tube, one loaded) for the civil version and 10+1 rounds for the tactical (police etc) version. Games: Battlefield 2 lists the M11-87 Battlefield Bad Company 2 names it 870 MCS for "Modular Combat Shotgun".

This submachine gun is one of the most well known bullpop designed rifles. A very special design aspect is the magazine, it is located on top of the rifle, not below. See the videos for details how this works. The cartridge holds 50 rounds. Designed for a shooting distance of 200m, total range is 1800meters though. Differences between the versions: FN P90: original version FN P90 TR: similar to P90 but has a triple rail interface on top of the rifle. This allows to use standard attachments on the submachine gun FN PS90: civilian version: it does not contain the full auto fire mode
Desert Eagle (Magnum) pistol .50 The Desert Eagle exists in a ton of different variants. You can get it with a lot different calibers, a lot of different barel lengths and from a lot different manufacturers. Here you find the most common version in video games: the .50 caliber Desert Eagle, manufactured by Magnum Industries.
The MP5 has a ton of variants and each can be modified. In games usually you find a submachine gun close to the MP5 A4 or MP5 A2, if a game just says "MP5" we reference to the MP5 A4 then. The variants use the calibers 9x19mm, 10mm Auto (for MP5/10) and .40 Smith & wesson for the MP5/40 gun.
The M67 seems to exist in a lot different shapes. i need to check this a little more in detail and refine this article.
Even a shot in a foot results in a instant kill in Infiltration. This was decided by the developers, as the big caliber of the sniper rifle would cause a serious damage even on smallest hits. Either because it will rip off a full body part (happens in RL often when using .50 caliber bullets) or it will result in a so called wound shock... even though the wound shock is to be discussed... at least a hit with a .50 bullet will cause serious wounds, so they decided to make it an insta kill.
This version of the MP5 has special parts to be used at the water front. This means especially it has a better resitance against salt water and corrosion. Afaik this is not the only difference?
The MP5k is the short version of hte well Heckler & Koch MP5. MP5k stands for "Maschinenpistole 5 kurz" (means: "submachine gun 5 short").One of the specialities of the MP5k is, that there exists a very special version for german special forces: the MP5k sits in a suitcase and can be fired with a hidden trigger in the handle. This sounds like a cheap B-movie (or a old James Bond movie), but it really exists.
