What is base raping?
… and here starts the pain: there is no definition about base raping. Even if you ask players who complain about being base raped, no one can give you an exact definition when you “base rape” and when not. Players complain mostly about base raping in Conquest mode… though I have seen German players complain in Rush mode, when they CAMPED as ATTACKERS and the defenders got so bored that they started to attack (read this again, lol, how stupid is this? :D)
The base rape definition:
DICE made exact rules:
- You can go wherever you like, if you leave the game area for more than 10 seconds (black area), you die.
- If you run outside and come in, that’s ok.
- If you stay in the game area, that’s ok.
The game rules (!) are:
- If you don’t die you can stay wherever you like. No matter, if it’s the enemy base or a rock far away.
- That mean: base raping does not exist… uuups???!? J
You learn:
The game has exact rules, so anybody complaining about base raping does not understand the whole game and should be shot and banned from the game permanently.
WTF is this !&%&?
This tutorial will do three things:
- Explain what you can do to eliminate the enemy in or near his base
- Explain WHY you can do that (because he is blind and/or stupid)
- Explain what you can do if you get attacked in or near your own base
How do you do base raping:
As written above: every “I am base raped” whiner has an own definition when he thinks, the enemy is unfair. Basically: as soon as you have a good position where you kill the enemy without being shot, you act clever and someone will complain about you… for sure!
Remember: This is a shooting game, not a dying game - try to kill, not to die.
Some example:
(all of this is standard tactics for the whole game, so do it like this all the time and you get easy kills). On the other hand: learn how you kill others teaches you how to avoid being killed too!
Easy: Mines and C4
Drop mines or C4 near enemy base or in enemy base directly under vehicles.

Most players jump into vehicles and start driving.
Drop mines on the ground where enemies can see them harder: darker colours or even better: in holes made by mine explosions before.
[screenshot]
Most players are dumb enough to drive on the mines on the same positions twice or even three times in a row.
With tanks:
Drive tanks in positions where you can shoot but the enemy can’t hit you easy. Remember some things:
- Be sure that minimum one engineer stands behind your tank to repair you non stop
- Turn your tank some degrees: enemy rockets do less damage when they hit your tank in an angle of 45 degrees
- Learn your weak points of your tank. Turn the strong side to enemy, not your weak side, lol :D

Why can you base rape:
Because the enemy troops don’t know how to play. Yes, that simple.
On Rush game mode, attackers loose, if they camp. Defender loose, if they attack and don’t defend objectives.
In Conquest mode, the team that camps looses. Each team NEEDS to conquer objectives and USE the flags as SPAWN points. The team that only starts in their base and/or snipers instead of attacking flags, will loose.
So what do you do if your team has captured all flags on the map? You wait for the enemy to attack. Sooner or later all your team players will stay around the flag near the enemy base and wait for the next player they can kill.
Now the whining starts... "we can't get out of our base, this is base raping, stop it or get kicked blabla"...Wait, what? You had hard fights to get all flags and make the enemy fall back... and now that you're about to win, they ask you to fall back and give them a flag for free or what? You worked hard to get in the winning position, so the enemy has to work hard too to make you fall back... there is no reason, why should should make it easier for them!
